Customer Case: Svenska Handelsbanken
Handelsbanken, one of Sweden's largest banks, identified a growing need for an efficient and secure visitor management solution aligned with their digitalization journey and cloud strategy. The renovation and modernization of entrances and receptions at several of the bank's branches were also part of this comprehensive transformation process. As a result, the bank sought a new solution that could offer both flexibility and security to match their ongoing development.
Handelsbanken began a process to modernize its visitor management system and reached out to EastCoast Solutions to explore potential solutions. After a thorough procurement and evaluation process, the bank decided to implement the new solution.

The Challenge
Handelsbanken set high demands for the new solution. In addition to the system being secure and complying with stricter regulations, it needed to handle a large number of different offices, each with its own specific needs. The bank also wanted to ensure smooth and automated management of employee data, with SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) being an important component. Furthermore, Handelsbanken wanted the visitor management system to create a unified, welcoming, and professional experience for all visitors.
The Solution
EastCoast Solutions worked closely with Handelsbanken to customize and adjust our existing solution to meet their specific requirements. An important part of the solution was the implementation of SCIM, which enabled secure and automated import of employee data – a feature that was not a standard part of EastCoast Visit Online when the project started. Together with Handelsbanken, we adapted the system to integrate this functionality, which then became a central part of the solution. To ensure a smooth and professional guest experience, registration kiosks were also delivered and branded with Handelsbanken’s logo. These kiosks provide a modern and uniform experience for all visitors while simplifying and improving the check-in process.
The Result
After the implementation, Handelsbanken has gained access to a modern and secure visitor management system that not only streamlined the process but also enhanced the visitors' experience. The solution has been particularly useful during their ongoing digitalization and office renovations, and now they have a system that is both future-proof and flexible enough to adapt to different local needs.
